Filming has restarted on the Christmas Special, we began it in March back when it snowed very heavily in the UK.

back in March
The cast all came together on Saturday to film a large portion of the Christmas Special. Now there are only a few small gaps to fill in, then editing will commence.

Despite being Christmas, the episode won't be very festive. It's going to go down a much darker route. The episode will mainly certain around something terrible happening which has a huge impact on The Doctor and the future.
So at the moment we are super busy at MB & Homeland, getting ready to film the Christmas Special, as well as working out what our plans are for next year.
A small survey was posted in a private MB & Homeland group with members to find out who would be up for returning for the next year content. In this survey we explained a little bit about our plans, include some plot points, and so far everyone responded extra excited for the plans, and everyone from Series 4 will be returning for next year, including some new faces.
We've also been working on our police box recently, but we can reveal just yet what we've done.
Hopefully by the beginning of October we will have a trailer for the Christmas Special, as well as a finale announcement on our plans next year.
Episode 1 to 5 have been uploaded to the YouTube channel and can be found here
Sam, Brandon & Tom on a break between filming
So far the feedback has been great and there haven't been any really big complains or problems with the episodes. Episode 6 will air this Saturday
The thumbnail for Episode 6
Some people have been wondering how many episodes there will be. We can reveal that there are a total of 12 episodes. 11 of them will air from April until July. The last episode will be the Christmas Special in which filming begins very soon.
Its finally here, the episode title list for Series 4. This Episode list shows each episode name, each writer and whether or not its a two parter or not.

Series 4 isn't even out yet and with filming wrapping in a months time, its about time we planned what will happen next, in late 2018 and beyond.

Colin Bray & Mark Bray filming for Christmas Special
So as the photo above shows, we did do some filming in the big snow storm which hit where we live on the 2nd March. The scenes filmed are for the Christmas Special which will come out 25th December.
But what happens after that?
So we are unsure whether or not to do a Series 5 or to perhaps do a bunch of Specials [Similar to Doctor Who 2008-10]
A lot of people have been asked recently 'Is this going to be Sam's last series?' and our response to that is simply 'We don't know... yet' but at the same time, if Sam didn't want to continue for anymore stories, we wouldn't make it public as we'd prefer to surprise the viewers. Who knows, we could be lying in the sentences above, we might have already filmed something, we also might be telling the truth... the mind boggles.
Harri Thompson, Mark Bray & Samuel Moore
posing after filming on Series 4
So far our plan for after Series 4 is to release a brand new Star Wars Fan Film, as well as finishing Political Rage in a short movie special. In 2019 we are unsure what will happen, we aim to release more Doctor Who, it could be a series, special, movie, audio series, etc.
Hopefully after Series 4 is released, we will have a much clearer idea going forward.
On the 13th January we held a small premier for the cast and crew of Series 4 of MB & Homeland Doctor Who Fan Film. After looking at everything, we have finally decided that Episode 5 is complete and needs no more editing.
Cast of Episode 5 Of Series 4
But what is Episode 5?
Episode 5 is written by Mark Bray and is called 'Out Of The Blue'
Episode 1 is scheduled to come out the 28th April 2018, which means Episode 5 will be released on the 26th May 2018.
Brandon Messer acting next the Tardis
During the premier we only watched Episode 1 to 5. The other 5 episodes will be watched some time next month. After the premier, there was very little to say. A lot of people felt very satisfied with the footage and only a few tweaks in the editing room needed to be done.
Samuel Moore & Brandon Messer acting inside the Tardis set
So what happens now?
Now that Episode 5 is done, we will finish filming for the rest of the series and hopefully hold a second premier in February to look at Episode 6 to 10
Tom Skinner, Mark Bray & Jordan Crowther-Russell at a previous premier
So now that its 2018, we've got a lot of work to do on Series 4. Its scheduled for release in 15 weeks and 2 days.
Brandon Messer & Samuel Moore On break during filming
Filming on Series 4 has passed 77% overall and is hoping to reach 80% by the end of the month. There is only one filming day this month on the 27th Jan, from now until then no filming will take place, but on the 13th Jan the crew at MB & Homeland will sit down and watch all the footage from Episode 1 to 5 of Series 4 and give feedback.
Shaun Mitchell, Mark Bray & Jordan Crowther-Russell
So far Episode 1, 2 & 5 are the closest to being complete, with Episode 3 & 4 needing filming done in February & March. After the premier on the 13th January, Episode 5 should be complete. Episode 6 to 10 have quite a bit of filming left to do. Another small premier will happen in March to look at those episodes.
Filming on Series 4 has just finished its 26 week since starting on the 27th June 2017. With 2018 just around the corner we felt it was best to reveal some new information about Series 4.
Graham Bray acting in Series 4
Filming on Series 4 has just passed 75% completion. In October it passed 52% and will mostly like pass 90% in March 2018. The majority of all episodes are nearly done, with just some fillers to put in here and there.
Mark Bray, Tom Skinner & Tom Ford acting for an unnamed episode
So what are the episodes titles? How many are there? And who are the writers?
We don't want to give away too much, but we can reveal that there are 10 episodes coming out. Episode 1 airing on the 28th April and the rest following weekly. We might add more episodes if we have time.
Out of these 10 episodes:
Tom Skinner writes 3 and co-writes 2
Tom Ford writes 2
Mark Bray writes 1 and co-writes 2
Colin Bray writes 1
Samuel Moore co-writes 1
Graham Bray co-writes 1
Unfortunately we won't be releasing the episode title list yet, but hopefully sometime in February/March a blog post will go up revealing each episode name.
Samuel Moore & Brandon Messer with director Tom Skinner
There are only 12 filming days left to finish Series 4, from January until April. We hope you enjoy.
The trailer for Series 4 has finally arrived and can be seen in the link below
This is all the information we can currently give away for the new series coming 28th April 2018.
The Companion:
This is Ethan Walker, he's 16 years old. He studies Photography at College. So far the trailer has shown him to be the main companion along side The Doctor. Ethan's role in the series will be deeper than any backstory we've done before and there are plenty of surprises to come. The character was designed to appeal to our biggest target audience, the majority of our viewers are aged 15-20 and are either boys or girls.
The Girlfriend:
This is Abigail Rose, she is 16 years old and is going out with Ethan Walker. Her parents are divorced and she visits both of them, living in two separate houses. She studies English, History and Music at an all girls sixth form. Just like Ethan, Abigail was designed to appeal to our largest audience, we hope the male fans enjoy Abigail and the girl fans enjoy Ethan and visa versa.
The Co-Pilot:
The Deacon has returned from Series 3 and the movie. We have given her a bigger role this series and a more fleshed out backstory. She is the more comedic character in the series and we hope will be enjoyed by everyone. The Doctor does start to build a bigger relationship with her during the series. The last we saw of her was on Gallifrey with Rassilon during the movie 'The Doctor's Atonement'
The Gardener:
This is Terry Jules. Good friends with Abigail & Ethan. He has watched over them since they were very little, he's a local gardener and neighbour to Ethan. He works for the council and does gardening at local parks and playgrounds. He also tends his own garden and Ethan's too. He has deep conversation with both Ethan and Abigail during the series and asks like a father to them.
The Doctor:
Returning for his third series. Samuel Moore has a load of deep and funny moments in this series. The Doctor was last seen heading to see The Deacon. Sam has worked hard on The Doctor in the past so we felt we didn't need to change much but we have given him a couple of monologues and deep lines of dialogue to say during the series which we hope people will enjoy.
That is all we can say so far, these our the main five character throughout the whole series. These characters will appear the most during the series and will have the biggest impact. They'll make you laugh, they'll make you cry, but most importantly they'll make you change the way you feel about life and the universe. We can't wait to release the series. Will you be watching?
Loads more filming has happened on the Series 4 of MB & Homeland's Doctor Who. It is reported that they are now 35% the way through filming and have only filmed 14 times so far.
Filming on Series 4
There has been so much talk about Series 4 but we still don't know much. For example: How many episodes? Who's the companion? Any returning actors? What about the interior?
Harri Thompson & Samuel Moore
acting in the Tardis Interior
Mark Bray has said that "Series 4 is a love story with a twist. The series will revolve around two main people. These two characters are dating and during the series we will explore their relationship but with a time travel alien twist. It'll be funny, loads of adventures but also heartbreaking at times. We have really pushed our actors to the limit with emotions and expressing themselves. We've really strengthened character background in this series"
This gives a new look at how the series will play out but we still don't know who these characters are? Who are the actors? Is it a boy and girl relationship or something different? Who knows. Hopefully we will get answers soon. But there is still the Doctor Who movie to come out in November.
It has been two months since filming begun on Series 4 and so far they are 26% the way through the series. Filming has begun for all 7 episodes of the Series.
Chris Howlett & Brandon Messer after a day of filming
So far there have been 12 filming get togethers with another 13 planned up until the end of October. If work continues the way it has been, then by November they will have about 55% done of the series. A trailer is expected to come out at the beginning of December for Series 4.

On the 15th April 2017 MB & Homeland uploaded a new podcast in which they announced a brand new series of Doctor Who will air next year on their YouTube channel. Filming on this series would begin after work on the movie wraps later this year. At the moment a Doctor Who Movie is scheduled to come out on the 23rd November 2017 made by MB & Homeland and starring Samuel Moore, Harri Thompson, Tom Skinner & Mark Bray.
The Doctor Who Logo Used in Series 3 [2016]
So what do we know about this new series?
The series will be shorter than the previous ones. Series 4 will have 5 to 6 episodes and a Christmas Special as well.
Samuel Moore will most likely continue for another series. [He's been The Doctor since October 2014]
A brand NEW companion will be stepping in for the majority of the series.
A Tardis interior is being built already!!!!!
Mark Bray is stepping down as 'Head Writer' and handing the role to someone else. This means he will write less than usual but will still be in charge of the series, meaning he has the final say on all decisions.
The series will open with a two parter story written by Tom Skinner.
Tom Ford, Samuel Moore & Graham Bray will be returning to write more stories.
Jordan Crowther-Russell & Colin Bray will help write their first stories for Doctor Who.
It will most likely be the last Doctor Who Series that MB & Homeland produce.
Samuel Moore & Mark Bray Behind The Scenes of Series 3 [2016]
So that's all that we know so far. The Series will mostly like come out Summer 2018 and will end in December with the Christmas Special.
We hope you have enjoyed this blog. We will keep everyone updated with any new information in our next blog post.
In our most recent podcast we announced that we were thinking of closing the channel with in the next two years. This is because people like CEO Mark Bray will be going to University September 2017 and won't have time to manage the channel unless someone else became the CEO. It is possible that Mark will take a gap year from September 2017 to 2018 but this is uncertain at the moment. Either way the channel will close by September 2018.
We are going to keep the channel LIVE with all our videos on, we aren't deleting any of the films we've made but we just won't be creating content any more.
Things to look forward to:
We are currently filming our brand new Doctor Who FanFilm Series. This will come out 16th July 2016 and will air up until Christmas day 2016. There will be a total of 9 episodes plus a 10th Anniversary movie. We are planning on making a Doctor Who movie next year because we don't have any plans to make another series but we are discussing it at the moment.
We are currently finishing filming on a brand new season we are making called 'Political Rage' this series will have a total of 3 episodes and filming on a second season has already begun. Season one is scheduled to come out on the 22nd October 2016. Season two will probably come out Autumn 2017.
We are currently in production of a new Star Wars FanFilm which will air 4th May 2017. This film is called 'Darkness Of The Republic' and it will star Mark Bray, Tom Ford, Jordan Crowther-Russell & Franki Lang. There are no plans to make any more Star Wars films after this but we are discussing it at the moment.
We are still going to make comedy sketches every so often, the last one we made was in September 2015, hopefully a new one will be coming soon. We are also hoping to bring out a short film every year up until our closure.
We are still making gameplays on the 25th of every month and we are still hosting 'Race To The White House' on the 10th of every month. Race To The White House probably won't be continuing next year because the election will have finished but we will still be making gameplays.
Hopefully in 2017 we will be bring out a new monthly series to replace Race To The White House, this is currently being discussed and we will have information soon.
News Update is still being produced and airing on the 15th of every month, this will continue every month until we close.
Behind The Lens is still being made and coming out on the 20th of every month but it might not continue next year, that is being discussed at the moment.
If Mark Bray did take a gap year from 2017 to 2018, we would probably produce a stand alone movie. This isn't definite yet but we'll know by May 2017.
A few members of MB & Homeland are planning on leave in September to go to university. Hopefully a few new people will be joining in a few months, at the moment no one really knows what they'll be doing next year, but we will try our hardest to keep the channel alive until September 2018. After that we will no longer be making content but all the videos will remain LIVE.
