Trailer Breakdown - Doctor Who Fan Film Series 5

So our first trailer for Series 5 is finally out! So we thought to celebration we'd do a breakdown of the video showing all the important parts, as well as anything that you might have missed.

The important parts...

Everyone's talking about it!
The wedding between Abigail & Ethan will
take place during Series 5, confirming their return

One thing that kept cropping up was this diamond, which some
viewers are calling the 'Heart Of Darkness' but what relevance does it have?

A bunch of new aliens and monsters for the series
all appearing to be working together
Plus the return of Alexandra

Two new faces appeared inside the Tardis Interior,
as well as a new actor playing the Vicar

A few things you might have missed...

1) The Deacon has a letter about something?
2) The Doctor appears to be late for the wedding?
3) The Master is using a Vortex Manipulator?
4) Everything has its time... and everything ends

Series 5 will undergoing RE-SHOOTS - Doctor Who Fan Film Series 5

On Saturday 19th, a group of members at MB & Homeland sat down to watch all of the footage that we have so far for Episode 1. Everyone left the screening unhappy with how it had turned out, agreeing that something had to be done. A few days later they came to an agreement to re-shoot 30% of the footage for Episode 1. Which could take up to a week of filming, delaying other plans.

The main reason for re-shoots is because so far the plot of Episode 1 isn't the best it could be, and seeing as its the first story, its most likely going to be the one that a majority of people click on. So we want it to be the best we can possibly make it. Everything on Episode 1 is already filmed apart from a small scene at the beginning. So after the re-shoots, it should all be done.

In other news; the first trailer for Series 5 went up on the YouTube channel, revealing the name of the first episode (Origins), the release date for the series (28th September) as well as a small teaser from the NEXT Doctor at the end of the trailer.
